Hotel Yasmin Košice

From October 2008 to February 2009, the HASIL Company, as a subcontractor, participated on the reconstruction of a 12-storey building on the Tyršovo nábrežie (Quay) in Kosice together with its business partner the Mobilier Company. The work consisted of delivering doors for hotel rooms which were requested to have sound attenuation and fire resistance for 30 minutes. Wooden smoke resistant doors equipped with self-closing mechanism and hinges hidden in the construction were delivered for the hotel’s lobby. The fire resistance of these doors is 60 minutes. Wooden dividing structures and solid steel doors produced by HASIL cumulatively had surface areas of 340m2 and 100m2 respectively.

Hotel Sliezky Dom

The Sliezsky House is a comfortable hotel in the high mountains which caters to higher demands (3 stars). It has 44 guest rooms along with a wellness center and guarantees its guests a pleasant stay. It is located in the Velicka dolina (Valley) under the Gerlachovský štít (Gerlach Peak) which is about 1,670 meters above the sea level.

The HASIL Company was involved in the reconstruction of this hotel as a supplier of fire and non-fire doors comprising a total volume of 380 m² wooden and 16m2 steel doors. The doors were delivered to the construction site via a narrow asphalt road that rose extremely steeply in some areas, which made the delivery particularly difficult during winter months. In the final stage, a Ratrak (Snow tractor) had to be used to get the doors to their destination at 1,670 meters above the sea level. This is the highest elevation construction site where HASIL has installed its doors.

The overall reconstruction of the hotel began in 2009 and was completed in 2010. The interesting thing about the hotel is that it was visited by Pope John Paul II in 1995.
